Burnley v Liverpool

Burnley forward Sam Vokes makes his first appearance in a match day squad since March after finally recovering from a cruciate knee ligament injury.

The Clarets name an unchanged team to face Liverpool at Turf Moor.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has picked the same side which secured a last-gasp draw with Arsenal on Sunday, with striker Mario Balotelli back on the bench after suspension and 17-year-old forward Sheyi Ojo named in the squad for the first time.

Florin Gardos is handed his first Premier League start in Southampton’s St Stephen's Day trip to Crystal Palace.

The Romania international is thrown in the starting line-up in place of suspended former Eagles defender Jose Fonte, while Morgan Schneiderlin and Sadio Mane are also brought in.

Palace make two alterations at Selhurst Park, with Adrian Mariappa and Damien Delaney coming in for Brede Hangeland and Martin Kelly.

Everton have fit-again trio James McCarthy, John Stones and Kevin Mirallas back in their first XI for the St Stephen's Day Barclays Premier League clash with Stoke at Goodison Park.

The threesome replaced Muhamed Besic, who is not included in the squad, and benched pair Sylvain Distin and Samuel Eto’o in the only adjustments from last Saturday’s 3-0 loss at Southampton.

The Potters’ starting line-up shows two alterations from Monday’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea, with Peter Crouch and Phil Bardsley dropping out – only the former to the bench – for Mame Biram Diouf and Glenn Whelan.

Leonardo Ulloa and David Nugent starts up front for Leicester against Tottenham as the Foxes look to end their 12-game winless run.

The strike pair are the only changes from the 2-0 defeat at West Ham which means Leicester are bottom of the Barclays Premier League at Christmas. Jamie Vardy and Esteban Cambiasso drops to the bench while Paul Konchesky keeps his place despite his error which cost a goal at Upton Park.

Tottenham recall Danny Rose and Benjamin Stambouli for Ben Davies and Ryan Mason, who are named on the bench. Former Leicester loanee Harry Kane, who scored twice in 15 games at the King Power Stadium in 2013, starts up front looking to score in a fourth straight game.
