McConville children to attend search for remains today

Relatives of Jean McConville, who was killed by the IRA in the 1970s, are to travel to Co Louth today in the final search for her remains.

Relatives of Jean McConville, who was killed by the IRA in the 1970s, are to travel to Co Louth today in the final search for her remains.

Garda digs for her body have concentrated on Templetown beach, but have as yet proved fruitless.

Mrs McConville was one of several people abducted and murdered by the IRA during the decade.
