A military plane crashed into a residential neighbourhood in northern Philippines today, killing at least three people.

A military plane crashed into a residential neighbourhood in northern Philippines today, killing at least three people.

Provincial governor Mr Tomas Joson said that 15 houses were still on fire but the total number of casualties is unknown. He said the bodies of two pilots and one other person had been recovered.

The plane, an S-211 air force trainer jet, crashed in the northern city of Cabanatuan.
