Earthquake hits Bolivia

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.3 hit Bolivia this morning, said the San Calixto Observatory in La Paz.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.3 hit Bolivia this morning, said the San Calixto Observatory in La Paz.

The epicentre of the quake was in between the provinces of Carrasco in Cochabamba, and Ichilo in Santa Cruz, a sparsely populated region.

The earthquake was felt all over the country, but no casualties or major damage were immediately reported.
