Final day for registering to vote
People who have still not registered to vote in this month's general election have until close of business today to do so.
The supplement to the electoral register, which will be finalised this weekend, will be published before polling day on May 24.
Application forms are available from local authorities, post offices, public libraries, garda stations and online at www.checktheregister.ie.
Applications must be witnessed by a member of the Gardaí or an official of their city or county council.
