Britney Spears has become the latest entertainer to join the Pepsi Generation.
The singer has signed a deal which is among the soft drink company's biggest and most far-reaching agreements ever with an entertainer.
Nineteen-year-old Spears joins the ranks of other celebrity endorsers such as Michael Jackson, who launched the Pepsi Generation in 1984.
Terms of the contract have not been disclosed but are likely to rank Spears alongside golfer Tiger Woods and tennis star Venus Williams.
Woods is reportedly making £100m over five years to promote Nike sportswear.
Pepsi and Spears have signed a global sponsorship and advertising agreement, which includes co-sponsorship of her upcoming world tour.
The first television commercial is expected to debut during the Academy Awards. Spears describes her deal with Pepsi as an honour and says previous Pepsi Generation stars have always been her heroes.
