Faithful hope to smash Tyrone record

Tyrone remain unbeaten in 2005 and have already picked up their first piece of silverware this year, but high-flying Offaly will provide a stern test for Mickey Harte's men in Division 1A of the National Football League.

Harte has made five changes from the side that accounted for Dublin in the last round.

Enda McGinley has been given a surprise recall at full-back - his first appearance in this year's league.

John Devine gets the nod between the sticks, and Pascal McConnell drops to the subs’ bench.

Brendan Donnelly comes in for Brian Robinson at half-back and Colm McCullagh replaces Ryan Mellon in the full-forward line.

Skipper Brian Dooher also returns following an injury to his leg that required stitches.

Offaly boss Kevin Kilmurray welcomes back Padraig Kelly and Cathal Daly to the side for today’s clash.

Kilmurray has made three changes from the side which lost to Kerry last time out, with Kelly returning to goal in place of Colin McNamara, and former AllStar corner-back Daly replacing his Tullamore club-mate James Keane in the heart of the defence.

Meanwhile, Joe Quinn, who came on as a substitute against Kerry, leads the attack and John Kenny gives way.

Westmeath and Donegal face off today, with both sides seeking their first win of the campaign.

Donegal boss Brian McEniff's hopes have been boosted by the return of Michael Hegarty and Brendan Devenney.

Hegarty has recovered from a back problem, while Devenney has made himself available.

Westmeath boss Páidí Ó Sé has made three changes from the side that drew with Cork in their last outing in the NFL.

Damien Healy returns at centre-back for his first appearance since last August’s All-Ireland quarter-final defeat to Derry.

Derek Heavin has also been named in the starting line-up after missing the Cork game with a shoulder injury.

As expected Martin Flanagan makes his appearance at centre-forward while Alan Mangan gets the nod at right corner-forward at the expense of Joe Fallon.

In the last remaining game in the division, Cork travel to Ballina to take on All-Ireland finalists Mayo.

Mayo are without star full-forward Trevor Mortimer for the clash. Mortimer is currently studying at a University in Leeds and will not be returning home this weekend, even though he has for their opening two matches in the campaign.

Dual star Keith Higgins retains his place at corner-back after he impressed for Sligo IT in their Sigerson Cup win over QUB last weekend.

Mayo have begun the campaign with a defeat and win against Dublin and Donegal respectively and will look to pick up their second home win of the League on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Cork boss Billy Morgan has handed Kevin O'Sullivan his first start in today's clash.

The Ilen Rovers man club man is the only change from the side that drew with Westmeath last time out. O'Sullivan is chosen ahead of James Masters at right corner-forward.

Anthony Lynch, who has recovered from a shoulder injury, is named on the bench.
