Britney Spears broke down in tears after seeing an image of her baby for the first time.

The Toxic superstar - who is expecting to give birth in the Autumn - has been battling "horrible" morning sickness and temperamental mood swings since announcing her pregnancy in April.

But she was overcome with emotion after seeing the baby's first ultra-sound scan.

The 23-year-old says: "You can't really say anything. I was emotional. I think it's the best feeling in the world. I think it brings out a pure side of you."

Spears and husband Kevin Federline are starring in their own six- episode US reality TV series - Britney and Kevin: Chaotic.
