Phil Mickelson is back as world number two thanks to his victory in the second of the FedEx Cup play-off series in Boston last night.
Mickelson fired a closing 66 and, for the first time in his career, won a tournament when paired with Tiger Woods on the final day.
He dubbed his previous record playing head-to-head against the world number one as “pathetic”.
