Aidan O’Brien, responsible for Stan James 1000 Guineas ante-post favourite Rumplestiltskin, has made two entries for the Shadwell Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket on Tuesday.
Beauty Bright and Kamarinskaya are the Ballydoyle trainer’s possibles for the Group Three contest over seven furlongs which has attracted a total of 17 fillies.
Neither are prominent in the ante-post market for the Classic over the Rowley Mile on May 7.
The Michael Stoute-trained Wasseema, who varies in the betting from 14-1 to 33s, had just the one start as a two-year-old when third to Short Dance in a Newmarket maiden last September.
Other interesting entries include Jeremy Noseda’s consistent Salut D’Amour, John Dunlop’s Mostaqeleh and the Pam Sly-trained Speciosa, winner of the Group Two Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket in October.
Other fillies with a 1000 Guineas entry are Bouboulina, Edaara, I’m In Love, Rajeem, Saabiq and Spinning Queen.
The five not engaged in the Classic are the sole French entry Sweet Travel from Andre Fabre’s stable, Culture Queen, Dizzy Dreamer, Song Of Silence and Strut.
