Tiger Woods enters his 10-week break from golf holding a lead of more than 14 points over Phil Mickelson in the world rankings.
Woods, who is taking time out to devote to his wife and baby daughter Sam, has now been world number one for a total of 463 weeks – 132 more than previous record holder Greg Norman.
His next appearance is the Target World Challenge, the tournament he promotes, in California on December 13-16.
