Seán Óg Ó hAilpín has worked his way back into Cork's starting line-up for their All-Ireland SHC quarter-final showdown with Waterford on Sunday.
Ó hAilpín will make his first start of the 2012 Championship in the Thurles encounter (throw-in 2pm), replacing William Egan at wing back in a direct swap.
Glen Rovers' Stephen McDonnell has been preferred to Damien Cahalane at full-back, while Lorcán McLoughlin drops to the bench to make way for Daniel Kearney at midfield.
Kearney, who plays his club hurling for Sarsfields, is set for his first start at this level having made his SHC debut against Tipperary earlier in the campaign.
The 22-year-old is another young player who has impressed manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy.
Niall McCarthy and captain Patrick Horgan are the elder statesmen of a Rebels' attack that includes the 19-year-old Conor Lehane, Cian McCarthy (22), Paudie O'Sullivan (23) and Luke O'Farrell (22).
