Midfielder Borja Oubina will miss the remainder of the season with damaged knee ligaments with Fabrice Muamba and Neil Danns vying to partner Medhi Nafti in the centre of the park.

Striker Mikael Forssell is sidelined for a month with a hernia problem and will undergo surgery on Monday.

But number two keeper Richard Kingson has recovered from a head injury suffered in the Carling Cup clash at Blackburn, for which Bruce made 11 changes, and is likely to be on the bench.
