Kilkenny's Charlie Carter has finally been named for the Cats to start in a competitive game after a year in the wilderness.

Kilkenny's Charlie Carter has finally been named for the Cats to start in a competitive game after a year in the wilderness.

Following injury early last year the 2001 AllStar was used as an impact substitute all last year to his utter dismay.

But he gets his chance for Kilkenny this time on top of the left to face Offaly in the Walsh Cup semi-final at Birr on Sunday.
