Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp will rest the vast majority of his first team in tomorrow’s Europa League clash against Shamrock Rovers but still intends to field a side containing “seven or eight” internationals.

Aaron Lennon will play after overcoming a groin problem, Danny Rose is back to full fitness following an ankle injury lay-off and Redknapp also hopes Roman Pavlyuchenko (hamstring) and Steven Pienaar (groin) will play some part.

Giovani dos Santos, Andros Townsend, Jake Livermore and Tom Carroll are likely to figure but Michael Dawson (Achilles), William Gallas (calf) and Tom Huddlestone (ankle) are out.
