The cost of living is the top political issue for many voters ahead of the upcoming general election, according to a survey by an online recruitment firm.
Elsewhere, around half of respondents to the questionnaire by RecruitIreland.com said they would accept an increase in taxes in return for a better healthcare system.
The survey found that broken promises have fuelled a lack of support for the Government and 75% of respondents believe politicians in general are out of touch with reality.
