Oasis have been forced to postpone a gig in Germany after frontman Liam Gallagher and fellow members of the group were arrested following a brawl.
Singer Gallagher broke several of his teeth and sustained facial injuries after the band was set upon by youths in Munich, Germany, in an unprovoked attack over the weekend, their website said.
They were released without charge but had to pull out of the show in Munich due to Liam's injuries.
The website said: "Several members of Oasis and their entourage were the victims of an unprovoked attack by a group of youths in a Munich club last night, where they were during their European tour.
"Liam Gallagher sustained facial injuries, including several broken teeth, while two of the group's security guards were forced to seek hospital treatment, one after being knocked unconscious.
"The attackers left the scene before police arrived.
"The police took several of the Oasis group, including Liam, to the local station for questioning in relation to the incident. Police enquiries continue.
"Meanwhile, all those arrested including Liam have been released.
"Due to Liam's injuries the concert tonight in Munich has had to be postponed."
Oasis kicked off their European leg of their world tour in November and are due to play in the UK in December.
Noel Gallagher was not with the band when the brawl broke out.
