Wexford claimed top spot of Allianz Football League Division 3 despite a late Cavan goal, while Westmeath, Tipperary and Limerick also registered wins in the division.

At Wexford Park, the hosts did just enough to finish as 1-14 to 2-09 winners over Cavan. Wexford stormed into a 1-04 to 0-02 lead by the end of the opening quarter,

The Model men continued to look comfortable at the break, holding a 1-07 to 0-03 advantage, but Cavan showed the greater composure on the restart.
