Louth manager Peter Fitzpatrick has named an unchanged side for Sunday's Leinster SFC semi-final against Westmeath at Croke Park (throw-in 5.50pm).

It is a vote of confidence to the players which started the 1-22 to 1-16 quarter-final win over Kildare last time out.

Neil Gallagher continues between the posts, with Eamon McAuley, Dessie Finnegan and Ronan Greene forming the full-back line.

Ray Finnegan, Michael Fanning and John O'Brien complete the Louth defence. Finnegan scored Louth's only goal in their dismissal of Kildare.

At midfield, captain Paddy Keenan is partnered by Brian White who scored six points against the Lilywhites.

The attacking formation is unchanged, with centre-forward Mark Brennan flanked by Andy McDonnell and Adrian Reid in the half-forwards, and Colm Judge, Shane Lennon and JP Rooney continuing to head the Wee County attack.

Sunday will see Louth take part in their first Leinster semi-final since 1998, when they were beaten by rivals Meath at Croke Park.

Louth have not contested a Leinster SFC final since 1960, with the last of their eight Leinster titles coming in 1957.

LOUTH (SFC v Westmeath): N Gallagher; E McAuley, D Finnegan, R Greene; R Finnegan, M Fanning, J O'Brien; P Keenan, B White; A McDonnell, M Brennan, A Reid; C Judge, S Lennon, JP Rooney.
