Although it has been suggested Bellamy will miss the remainder of the campaign with a knee injury, manager Mark Hughes has not yet given up on the Welshman.

Nigel de Jong is also a major doubt with a thigh injury as City step up their push for seventh spot, which would be enough to guarantee European football next term.

Team (from): Given, Richards, Onuoha, Dunne, Bridge, Elano, Ireland, de Jong, Kompany, Robinho, Bojinov, Caicedo, Garrido, Fernandes, Sturridge, Evans, Etuhu, Clayton, McGivern, Hart, Petrov.
