League One Doncaster have landed a home tie against Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup.
The Yorkshire side were the only club from outside the Barclays Premiership represented in the draw.
They humiliated Aston Villa 3-0 in the last round and were rewarded with a game against the Gunners, who beat Reading by the same score to secure their place in the last eight.
Having disposed of West Brom at Old Trafford in the fourth round, Manchester United face another midlands side but they must travel to Birmingham, who only scraped into quarters by beating Millwall on penalties.
The draw set up a north-west derby between Wigan and Bolton while Middlesbrough have a home game against Blackburn.
The games will be played the week commencing December 19.
