French raider L’Ami heads a field of 16 declared for the £100,000 (€146,000) Racing Post Chase at Sandown tomorrow.
The seven-year-old, who will carry top weight of 11st 12lb in the Grade Three handicap, is one of two runners from Francois Doumen’s stable – the other being Innox.
Nicky Henderson is double-handed with Irish Hussar and Calling Brave, with the latter set to be ridden by Mick Fitzgerald.
Paul Nicholls also has two runners in My Will and Ladalko, as has Jonjo O’Neill with Risk Accessor and Halexy.
Philip Hobbs, responsible for last year’s winner Farmer Jack, relies on Lacdoudal this time, while Gary Moore’s Tikram aims to improve on his fourth place 12 months ago.
Martin Pipe runs Iris Bleu, while Charles Egerton and Alan King have fancied runners in Graphic Approach and Fork Lightning respectively.
The field is completed by Peter Bowen’s Ballycassidy, Schuh Shine from Venetia Williams’ stable and Distant thunder, trained by Robert Alner.
