Justice Spokesman Alan Shatter has said the circumstances that led to Deputy O'Keeffe's resignation as Minister for Food are a matter of public interest and importance.

Deputy Shatter has expressed the desire to raise any agreement or arrangement that may have been made between the Taoiseach and Deputy O'Keeffe to move him to a different ministry.
