Kilkenny manager Brian Cody will consider his position over the coming weeks following yesterday's All-Ireland hurling final win over Clare.

Cody was coy when questioned if he'd stay on to help the Cats to a third title and said: "I haven't even begun to consider what my options are.

"The most important thing is that the players are in place to come back next year as strong.

"I have no idea what I'll be doing. Now is a time for celebration."
