Liverpool have forward Daniel Sturridge and midfielder Philippe Coutinho back available for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Swansea at Anfield.

The pair return to the squad having both been ineligible for Thursday’s Europa League defeat at Zenit St Petersburg, with manager Brendan Rodgers confirming Sturridge – who has been nursing a thigh problem – is fit to play.

Daniel Agger, after criticising his own performance in Monday’s 2-0 league defeat to West Brom on Twitter, did not travel to Russia but Rodgers has indicated the defender will be involved against the Swans.

Provisional squad: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Carragher, Enrique, Lucas, Allen, Gerrard, Downing, Suarez, Borini, Jones, Wisdom, Agger, Coates, Henderson, Shelvey, Suso, Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge.
