Shamrock Rovers are without several key players for the visit of Bray Wanderers to Tolka Park tonight, kick-off 8pm.

Long-term injury victims Paul Shiels and Eric McGill are joined by Ger O'Brien on the treatment table after he picked up a knock against Cork City.

"Ger hurt his ankle on Tuesday and we'd have to regard him as doubtful for the Bray game," said Hoops boss, Pat Scully. "Hopefully he can pass fit and play.

"We're also keeping an eye on Aidan Price, Derek Pender and Barry Ferguson. They all played on Tuesday without being 100% - but came through fine.

"That was a really good performance. And what was most pleasing about it was that it was a consistent performance from start to finish, for the full 90 minutes.

Scully added: "Last Friday's win in Drogheda had contained a 20-minute spell when we didn't play well, so we were pleased to have become more consistent in our play.

"I know people are saying that we've beaten two of the top teams in the country, but that's the past now and we're concentrating on the game against Bray.

"With no disrespect to Bray Wanderers, this game is a banana skin for us. The confidence at Rovers is high now and we don't need to change anything.

"Once people go out in the right frame of mind and do the same job, we'll be fine. It's all about maintaining that high level of performance that we now expect."

Wanderers boss Eddie Gormley has a number of injury worries with captain Clive Delaney, Stephen Fox, Colm Tresson and Andrei Georgescu all doubtful.

Gormley will wait until the last minute before deciding on their fitness. He will give all the players all the time they need to recover before making a final decision on his squad.

Speaking after the win over UCD, Gormley said: "It was a tough high-tempo game, we played well in patches, defended well when we had to and were good on the counter attack."
