CAB to auction €2m property of missing Dublin criminal
Two million euros worth of property belonging to a Dublin criminal who disappeared in Spain 18 months ago are reportedly being put on the market by the Criminal Assets Bureau today.
Reports this morning said six houses and other land in the Co Donegal villages of Portnablagh and Creeslough were being sold at auction by the agency.
The property was seized from Dublin man Sean Dunne, who has not been seen since he went missing in the Spanish city of Alicante in September 2004.
At the time of his disappearance, the CAB was seeking €4m in taxes from the 34-year-old based on an assessment of the amount of money he had made through his criminal activities.
