Giggs to make 600th league appearance for United
Ryan Giggs has been named in the starting line-up against Tottenham at White Hart Lane this afternoon to record his 600th league appearance for Manchester United.
Wayne Rooney returns after recovering from an ankle injury which kept him out for two games for a United side bidding to keep their unbeaten record this season intact.
Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic are also back in harness at the centre of defence in search of the point which would see them return to the top of the Premier League, while Tottenham were hoping for their first win over United since May 2001 to throw the title race wide open.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has preferred Peter Crouch to Jermain Defoe and Gareth Bale returns despite missing two days training this week due to a back injury he picked up just over a week ago against Everton.
