Bray Wanderers 4 Longford Town 1

Jason Byrne hit his second hat-trick of the season to ease Bray's relegation worries and keep Town firmly in the dogfight at the foot of the table.

Byrne hit his first on 13 minutes.

Great work down the left from Phil Keogh carved open the Town defence and Byrne fired home his tenth goal of the season.

Byrne struck again on the half-hour to kill off suspension-hit Town when heading home Barry O'Connor's cross before adding his thrid on 70 minutes.

Keith Doyle put through his own goal 11 minutes later to give Town faint hope before Stephen Fox added Bray's fourth in the final minute.
