Mick McCarthy has awarded Bohemians sharpshooter Glen Crowe's excellent season with a call-up to train with the Irish squad as they prepare for the forthcoming games against Portugal and Estonia.
Crowe, who was once with Wolves, is part of a 25-man squad chosen for the two matches.
Roy Keane, Niall Quinn and Rory Delap return to the squad after injury, along with Damien Duff.
Robbie Keane is also named, with McCarthy hoping he can shake off ankle tendon damage ahead of the crucial Portugal clash.
The full squad is - (goalkeepers) Kelly, Given, Colgan; (defenders) Kelly, Staunton, Harte, Breen, Dunne, Cunningham, Doherty, Carr; (midfielders) Keane, Kinsella, Carsley, McAteer, Holland, Kilbane, Finnan, Delap, Kennedy; (strikers) Duff, Farrelly, Quinn, Keane, Connolly.
