Chelsea will make a late decision on whether to include Arjen Robben in the squad for the Barclays Premiership trip to Crystal Palace.

Robben was widely expected to return against West Brom in midweek but assistant boss Steve Clarke hinted he may return against Palace or be left out until until the end of the forthcoming international matches.

Midfielder Scott Parker is also available after recovering from a broken foot and Ricardo Carvalho is likely to be recalled in place of Robert Huth – but Didier Drogba is a doubt after being kicked in the groin in the closing stages of the midweek match at Stamford Bridge.

Provisional squad: Cech, Cudicini, Johnson, Carvalho, Ferreira, Terry, Gallas, Huth, Parker, Makelele, Lampard, Tiago, Smertin, Jarosik, Duff, Robben, Gudjohnsen, Drogba, Cole.
