The GAA has announced that the London v Louth Allianz NHL match scheduled for Ruislip next Saturday has been postponed indefinitely because of the foot and mouth outbreak in Britain.
here will be no further games between Irish and British based GAA teams until such time as deemed safe by the Department of Agriculture. London's executive committee meets tonight to discuss the situation. They may be forced to pull out of the league, and perhaps even the championship, if the problem worsens.
It is not yet known what measures would be taken by the GAA if the suspected outbreak in Armagh is confirmed.
