There have been a number of protests organised after the death of Savita Halappanavar, who died at University Hospital Galway a week after she was told she was having a miscarriage.
Two investigations are already underway after the death of 31-year-old Savita.
She had asked for a termination of her pregnancy, but was told it could not be done because a foetal heartbeat was still present.
Once the heartbeat stopped, the procedure was carried out. Savita later died of septicaemia.
A protest takes place outside the Dáil tonight at 6pm. A second gathering will happen at Eyre Square in Galway at 5pm on Saturday evening.
Another vigil will take place tonight in Cork city, outside of the Opera House in Emmet Place at 7pm, and on Bedford Row in Limerick city at 7pm tonight, while a similar vigil will take place in Belfast tomorrow.
There will also be a pro-choice protest tonight at the Irish embassy in London from 6pm.
