The controversy surrounding pensioners tax liabilities will come under the spotlight at a committee meeting today.
Revenue chairperson Josephine Feehily, as well as officials from the Department of Social Protection, will face questions after around 150,000 pensioners were sent letters about tax compliance last week.
Around 115,000 of them were told that they would have to pay more tax this year after a mis-calculation.
The meeting is aimed at providing clarity and giving reassurances to those affected, as well as examining how Revenue handled the matter.
