The Luas Cross City Line is getting a cash boost from Europe.

Govt borrows €150m from Europe for new Luas line

The Luas Cross City Line is getting a cash boost from Europe.

A contract has been signed between the European Investment Bank and the Government for a €150m loan over a 25-year period.

It will help to cover the cost of building the line as well as 13 new stations and 10 new trams.
