All-Ireland football champions Dublin lead the nominations for the PwC All Stars with 10 nominations.

James McCarthy, Stephen Cluxton and Michael Fitzsimons, who won their ninth All-Ireland title in July, are among the players nominated.

Kerry, beaten All-Ireland finalists, have nine players nominated, Ulster champions Derry have seven, All-Ireland semi-finalists Monaghan have four.

There are only two from Connacht champions Galway, along with Armagh and Mayo who also have two players each players.

Roscommon, Tyrone, Donegal. Cork, Westmeath and Kildare have received one nomination each.

The nominations for player of the year were also announced, with Dublin's Brian Fenton, Kerry's David Clifford and Derry's Brendan Rogers the three nominees.

The shortlist for Young Footballer of the Year is Derry duo Eoin McEvoy and Ethan Doherty, and Roscommon goalkeeper Conor Carroll.
