Ireland full-back Girvan Dempsey also makes his own return, from injury, with Robert Kearney moving across to the left wing as Luke Fitzgerald drops to the bench. Shane Jennings gets the nod ahead of Keith Gleeson for the number seven jersey.

Leinster require a minimum of four points to keep alive their hopes of making the quarter-finals. Brian O'Driscoll will lead the side with Leo Cullen calling the shots in the forwards.

Edinburgh have made two changes to their team.

Prop Craig Smith is out with a calf injury and No 8 David Callam with a neck injury to open the door for Allen Jacobsen and Callum MacRae to make a contribution.
