Football legend Diego Maradona has died aged 60.
Maradona is understood to have suffered a heart attack in his home two weeks after leaving hospital where he underwent surgery on a blood clot on his brain.
Maradona is one of the greatest footballers of all time. He captained Argentina to the 1986 World Cup, making a number of superb individual performances during the tournament in Mexico.
He scored over 300 goals in an illustrious career that saw him turn out for the likes of Boca Juniors, Barcelona, Napoli and Sevilla.
Maradona also helped Argentina reach the final of the 1990 World Cup, where they lost 1-0 to West Germany.
He managed the country at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Tributes are already pouring in for Maradona following the sad news.
The AFA said on Twitter: “The Argentine Football Association, through its president Claudio Tapia, expresses its deepest sorrow for the death of our legend, Diego Armando Maradona. You will always be in our hearts.”
Hasta siempre, Diego.

His performance in the 1986 World Cup quarter-final against England was immortalised as he scored the infamous 'Hand of God' goal before a stunning individual effort that went down as one of the greatest goals of all time.
Maradona's international career ended after he failed a drugs test at the 1994 World Cup in the United States.
He was also banned after testing positive for cocaine while playing for Napoli, where he won two Serie A titles, and his substance abuse issues in later life were well documented.
Pele, who is regarded as one of the finest players of all time alongside Maradona, said: "I lost a great friend and the world lost a legend. One day, I hope we can play ball together in the sky."
Maradona and Pele were named as FIFA's joint-player of the century in 2000.
