Jewell forced to change
Wigan manager Paul Jewell is forced to change his side for the first time in a month ahead of tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash at Aston Villa.
After three successive matches of fielding an unchanged line-up, Jewell is without Lee McCulloch for the next three games following the winger’s red card for a rash challenge on Emre in last Saturday’s 1-0 home win over Newcastle.
Jewell has a number of options open to him, although it is likely Alan Mahon will step into the breach at Villa Park.
