Aston Villa are without right-back Rob Edwards and midfielder Gareth Barry for tomorrow’s Villa Park clash with relegated Sunderland.
Villa also have a doubt over in-form striker Marcus Allback who picked up a thigh problem playing for Sweden against Croatia on Wednesday.
Welsh international Edwards will miss the final two games of the season after damaging ankle ligaments during the first-half of last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Everton.
Barry is serving the second game of a two-match ban collected after picking up 10 bookings.
Jlloyd Samuel is set to switch flanks to replace Edwards with rookie Peter Whittingham bidding to make his first Premiership start.
