The banks were the big winners on the Irish Stock Exchange this morning, as traders reacted positively to the draft legislation on the National Asset Management Agency (Nama).
Allied Irish Banks and Irish Life and Permanent both gained 12c to move to €1.85 and €3.40 respectively. Bank of Ireland led the way however, up 15c to €1.98.
FBD enjoyed the biggest gain of the day so far, up 23c to €7.03.
It was not all good news however, with Kerry Group down 15c to €16.75 and Kingspan losing 14c to €4.84.
