Kieron Dyer replaced Valon Behrami, who has a hip problem, while Mexican winger Pablo Barrera came into attack as Victor Obinna dropped to the bench.

The Hammers were without a win in the last five league games, while the Baggies could move back into the top six having suffered successive defeats.

Midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu was banned after being sent off in the 2-0 home loss against Manchester City.

Peter Odemwingie started in attack, while Scotland international James Morrison returned after missing two league games because of knee problem.
