Giovanni Trapattoni has announced his squad for the forthcoming training in Portugal and matches against Serbia and Columbia.
One player who has already accepted Trapattoni’s request to return is goalkeeper Dean Kiely who opted out of the international squad in 2003. Stephan Ireland, Andy O'Brien and Steve Finnan are not included.
