Soviet Song is reported to be on course for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot on Saturday week.
The James Fanshawe-trained filly would be trying for a fourth consecutive Group One victory if she lines up at Ascot after wins in the Falmouth Stakes, Sussex Stakes and Matron Stakes.
Soviet Song beat dual Guineas winner Attraction for a second time in the Matron last week and Fanshawe is pleased with the filly’s progress.
He told the Racing Post: “We are aiming for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and so far she appears to have come out of the Matron Stakes in good form.
“We won’t make a decision until next week, as we also have the option of running in the Sun Chariot at Newmarket.”
