Wales will mark their RBS 6 Nations title and Grand Slam successes by staging a celebration show at the Millennium Stadium on May 2.

The event, which will be attended by players and management, is to include live entertainment and big-screen footage of Wales’ Six Nations performances this season when they achieved a first Grand Slam since 1978.

“This will be an opportunity for people from all over Wales to congregate in our fantastic stadium and commemorate the marvellous success of our squad,” said Welsh Rugby Union chairman David Pickering.

“This is a great focal point that will be followed by a wide range of activities spread over the length and breadth of Wales, which will take the RBS 6 Nations trophy to all corners and communities of Wales.”
