Will David Moyes ever catch a break after all this bad luck ?

Things go from bad to worse for David Moyes.

Bottom of the Premier League, out of the cup and winless all season.

It couldn't get any worse for Moyesy, could it?

Well it did last night.

The former Everton, Manchester United and Real Sociedad manager was sent off in the one-nil defeat for Sunderland away to Southampton in the EFL Cup for swearing at the referee.

OK. It happens.

However, while being interviewed by Sky Sports News, the Glasgow-born manager forgot the name of the referee he was complaining about.

The result? Some pretty cringeworthy television.

And it doesn't end there!

To cap it all off, Sunderland have been stranded on the south coast after their plane home from Southampton failed to take off in thick fog.

It's the second aeroplane-related issue to trouble the Premier League's bottom club this season.

In July they were forced into an emergency landing at Manchester while on their way to a pre-season training camp in Austria.

Hang in there, David, it will get better.
