The comedy version of the famous afternoon game show is back for a new series - although you probably hadn’t even realised it had been away. That’s because the programme rarely seems to be off our screens – not that we’re complaining, of course.
Jimmy Carr is in the presenter’s seat as Sean Lock, Bill Bailey and Paul Foot go up against guest captain Sarah Millican, who’s with Rob Delaney and Romesh Ranganathan. Nina Conti joins Countdown’s lexicographer Susie Dent in Dictionary Corner, while Rachel Riley looks after the letters and numbers.
Comedian and first-generation immigrant Henning Wehn leads an irreverent guide to life in Britain from the perspective of some of its most notoriously polarising inhabitants.
From the key issues to the almost overlooked aspects of British life that people take for granted, the programme asks the big questions every prospective immigrant needs to know, such as: Can you learn to banter?
What exactly do the upper classes do? Is it good to swear at work? Why do we let animals sleep in our bedrooms? And is it possible to collect 100 apologies from the British public?

The ports are about to close and Andrew is told he must pay an extortionate fee to get Samantha on the last boat before the borders are locked down. The only other option is be smuggled through the infected zone where the tentacled aliens roam.
Andrew and Samantha have no choice but to head off into the wilderness. As they near the US border and freedom, the couple encounter the gargantuan beasts and discover that the real monsters might just be mankind.
(2007) This third instalment of the gripping thriller series is a corker. Matt Damon reprises his role as lethal assassin Jason Bourne, and this time, a meeting with a journalist awakens the former hitman’s memories.
Once again, he embarks on a deadly game of cat-and-mouse as he attempts to uncover who he really is, why he became embroiled in Project Treadstone and why the people who employed him now want him dead. Many ’threequels’ are mere rehashes of old successes, but this surpassed all expectations.
Damon is breathtaking in the leading role, and Paul Greengrass directs with aplomb. Julia Stiles offers strong support to Damon’s maverick agent and David Strathairn is mesmerising.
