Shortlist for the 2014 Irish Radio Awards has been released

The annual PPI Irish Radio awards has been marking the very best in Irish radio broadcasting for the past 14 years.

This year, for the first time, entries were received from all radio stations broadcasting in the Republic of Ireland and from most stations broadcasting in Northern Ireland. Awards are made in all areas of radio programming, for radio personalities and for production across all areas of radio including music, news, sport, speech, entertainment and of course comedy.

A whopping 81 judges have spent seven weeks reviewing entries, and here it is ….. drum roll please … the 2014 PPI short list:

The Gala Awards night takes place at the Lyrath Estate Hotel, Kilkenny on Friday October 3rd, sponsored by PPI and BAI when the winners will be announced.
