Beady Eye album will be Liam's best, band manager says

Beady Eye's second album is set to be the best one Liam Gallagher has ever made.

Beady Eye's second album is set to be the best one Liam Gallagher has ever made.

'The Roller' group - made up of former Oasis members Liam, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock - are currently in the studio working on a follow-up to 2011's 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' and the group's manager, Scott Rogers, is certain it will be a hit.

He told Music Week magazine: "It's probably the most exciting record I've worked on for as long as I can remember. Everyone thinks they know exactly what record Beady Eye are going to deliver, but they've completely turned it on its head.

"I think Liam Gallagher is making the best album of his entire career.

"That's a big statement because he's made some classic records - usually with his brother's songs. But Beady Eye are very talented players and writers and are technically fantastic."

Last month, Liam's estranged brother and Oasis main man Noel Gallagher said the singer was letting Beady Eye down.

Noel - who quit Oasis in 2009 following a huge argument with his sibling - said: "The thing with Beady Eye is, their singer does them a great disservice. I think they caught a lot of flak that was quite undeserved really.

"I think they've got a great album in them next time. They need one. They f***ing need one, that's for sure."
