Health Minister Michael Martin has urged Irish doctors to accept the Government’s plan to provide free health care to all citizens over 70 years of age.

Health Minister Michael Martin has urged Irish doctors to accept the Government’s plan to provide free health care to all citizens over 70 years of age.

Speaking at the conference of the Irish Medical Organisation in Killarney earlier today, Minister Martin said that he believed that any problems could be overcome through discussion.

He says that many of the objections to the proposal had been exaggerated.
